The program, Bachelor of Science (Hons) Nursing (Post Registration) of Lincoln University College, has been specially designed to provide the students with the knowledge regarding the varied important aspects of nursing practice. Our experienced faculty focuses on the different approaches as far as treatment and care of patients is concerned. Students also learn about the importance of the assessment of the psychological and emotional needs of the patients. Thus our learning will help the graduates, to perform their duties effectively in the health care sector.

•Through this programme, students will acquire adequate and in-depth knowledge about Nursing. It also aims to develop the clinical skills as well as the management and leadership skills of the graduates/students.

•To focus on the development of the reflective skills to enhance integration of theory and practice by fostering an enquiring and critical approach to nursing care.

•To offer to the degree holders of this course, diverse job opportunities in the health care sector.

This programme will provide the following opportunities:

  1. Promotion to a higher grade especially in the Government Sector.
  2. Lecturer.
  3. Educators in Public and Private Sectors .
  4. Ward Managers/Supervisors.

Entry Requirements :

  1. Pass a Diploma in Nursing or equivalent;
  2. Registered with the Nursing Board Malaysia;
  3. Has Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) latest; and
  4. Have at least three (3) years of work experience

AND
HEALTH STATUS

  1. Students must pass a medical examination by a medical officer recognized by the institution
  2. Free from infectious diseases such as HIV / AIDS, Hepatitis B or C, mental problems 'Epilepsy' or chronic illness.
  3. No physical impairment such as limping and stunted sensory problems such as hearing loss and blindness that can interfere with the efficiency of colour manual.
